Antropogenica is a site-specific installation made for Times Square NYC by Giuseppe Lo Schiavo. The project is curated by the Museum @mocda_ for @luxottica.
The video was made with anamorphic technology and creates the illusion of a 3D space.
Urban Pixels is a public art exhibition curated by MoCDA in collaboration with EssilorLuxottica featuring XCOPY, Giuseppe Lo Schiavo, Lethabo Huma and Krista Kim. The works will be exhibited on screens located in some of the most famous and busy areas of Milan (Krista Kim), London (XCOPY) and New York (Giuseppe Lo Schiavo in Times Square). Each work will be installed a few days apart and will remain on display for four weeks.
With Antropogenica, the artist investigates the dichotomic nature of humankind made of greatness and destruction.

The work is also an accurate infographic on the number of single-use plastic bottles sold every second in the world based on research published by Euromonitor International.
